Good reasons to ‘Get Involved’!

The statistics behind the number of unsafe gates in operation across the UK is terrifying.  Did you know that only 30% of all automated gates currently being operated in the UK are deemed fit for purpose?  In recent years, there have been nine deaths in the UK and Ireland- six adults and three children – several serious injuries and countless near misses in tragic accidents involving badly installed and poorly maintained automated gates and barriers.

Gate Safety Week – now in its 4th year:

It is now four years since we started the ‘Gate Safety Week’ campaign, word is spreading and we are surely and steadily making progress in raising awareness of the dangers of poorly fitted and maintained automated gates.  But so much more can be done – we hope you will help us make this year’s ‘Gate Safety Week’ its most successful yet!
