The DHF (Door & Hardware Federation) is proud to announce that is is hosting a series of morning seminars in collaboration with Gerda at our premises in Tamworth.

The seminars are free to attend and will consist of 2 presentations throughout the morning.  The first, delivered by DHF’s General Manager & Secretary Michael Skelding, is titled ‘Fire Safety, some comments on doors and hardware after Grenfell’, and focusses on the outcomes of the initial inquiry as well as how the doors and hardware performed.  The second presentation is delivered by Gerda’s Head of Communications Fiona Critchley, who is also the Chair of the DHF Timber Doorset Group, centres around the guidance document “A Guide for Selecting Flat Entrance Doorsets”, a copy of which is enclosed.  It looks at the criteria to consider when specifying a flat entrance doorset; the building regulations, industry standards and takes into account the recent recommendations from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase I Report Overview.

The seminar will appeal to those responsible for compliance, fire safety, asset management and procurement.  A booking form -found at the bottom of the page) must be completed and emailed to training@dhfonline.org.uk with your selected dates.

Places are limited to 25 and will be booked on a first come first served basis.
