The UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (Security Requirements for Relevant Connectable Products) Regulations 2023 came into force in the UK on the 29th April 2024. The Regulations placed new legal requirement on the manufacturers of internet connected devices to address serous security vulnerabilities presented by the widespread interconnection of things. Similar legislation is expected in the EU soon, but for now, this is a UK specific requirement.
This webinar explains the current requirements on manufacturers, importers and distributors of internet connectable products in the UK.
