Additional information

Please note: it is assumed that anyone attending either course will already have a working knowledge of the installation process. Neither course covers the actual installation of doors or barriers. Furthermore, although electrical safety is covered during both courses, the training does not provide the detailed electrical knowledge associated with the installation of an industrial or garage door.

We recommend that those with barriers to learning such as dyslexia or difficulty in reading and writing to please inform dhf training staff before attending a course, and also to attend a classroom course at Tamworth where extra help can be provided.

All courses are run on a pass/fail basis and marked independently.  No communication will be entered into with the trainer.

Terms and conditions apply to all dhf training. For queries related to training, please email the training department at training@dhfonline.org.uk
