Ideal for installation, repair and maintenance engineers of non-fire rated doorsets. It may be of interest to facilities management, local authorities and housing associations or those with responsibility for engineers, who wish to increase their knowledge of the subject matter.
The course comprises six units and provides an understanding of the legislation, standards and regulations affecting the supply, installation, repair, or maintenance of a security and emergency exit doorsets (non-fire). It also explains the installation process and ou
tlines the limitations for modifications on certain types of doorsets.
Learners complete a workbook throughout the day to use as the supporting documentation.
Upon completing the course, learners receive a certificate of attendance from dhf and a certificate from the Certification of Professional Development Scheme with 6 hours CPD.
