COVID-19 Updates

This page is a summary of the latest updates regarding COVID-19 from dhf. If you are a dhf member, please visit the dhf Member News area for more detailed updates.

The latest Government announcement and Parliament vote (week commencing 4 January 2021) has put into law the most recent lockdown measures. Please see the dhf updates below:

DHF training updates

dhf office staff are now working from home as much as possible. Please see the next section 'dhf office updates' for information on contacting dhf at this time. In addition to these measures, due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions, dhf has suspended all face-to-face training until at least the beginning of April, at which time we will review the situation.  Learners who have booked on face-to-face training courses will be offered the option of a distance learning programme, or re-booking on a later course. If you have questions about training that is currently booked please email or call the main dhf number.

dhf is encouraging anyone needing to book training to look to the DLP - the Distance Learning Programme, which can be done at home or the workplace. The DLP has been in place since April 2020 and has served many training delegates across the UK, proving to be invaluable in getting safety training to anyone who needs it.

The available DLP courses include all of the usual face-to-face classroom courses taught at the dhf Training Academy:

The DLP courses combine the convenience of viewing the training videos at leisure with the support and guidance of a dedicated one-to-one tutor. Online training can be booked here.
