NHS Track & Trace QR codes now available at DHF training academy

NHS Track & Trace app now required

In order to ensure the safety of dhf staff and training delegates, with immediate effect training delegates are now requested to use the ‘NHS Covid-19’ app as the fastest way of knowing when you are at risk from coronavirus. Installation is free and easy, taking moments to find on the Google Play or Apple App stores. Please install and open this app, then scan the dhf QR code to ‘check in’ to this location.

dhf is a COVID-Secure workplace, and we require the help of all visitors and training delegates to keep themselves and all dhf staff as safe as possible.

By attending a training course, training delegates confirm that they:

  • have not travelled to any current at-risk country in the last 14 days
  • have not been in close contact with anyone who has been to any current at-risk country in the last 14 days
  • have not been in close contact with anyone who has received a positive COVID-19 test result in the last 14 days
  • have not been in close contact with anyone who is a suspected case or has been self-isolating in the last 14 days

And, further, that they do not have the following symptoms:

  • Fever (37.8° C or 100° F and above), or hot to touch on chest or back
  • New, continuous cough
  • Recent loss of smell or taste, or change to these senses

These are in addition to the current Terms & Conditions each training delegate must abide by when agreeing to take part in dhf training courses. The co-operation of all visitors and training delegates is vital to help us take precautionary measures to protect you and everyone on our premises.

A multitude of safety considerations and processes were undertaken to ready the Training Academy for classes at the start of June, which you can read here. A copy of the dhf COVD-19 risk assessment for face to face training can be found here. Anyone concerned for their welfare is welcome to book onto the Distance Learning Programme (DLP) courses, which have been available since April.

Track & Trace notices are at all entrances to dhf, next to touchless hand sanitizer dispensers. Hand sanitizer, face coverings and gloves are available to all training delegates. In addition to the Track & Trace request, all dhf face to face training has been limited to just 6 training delegates to further limit contact with people outside one's work 'bubble'.
