Introducing a groundbreaking training initiative that will transform the Building Hardware Sector

DHF is proud to announce the launch of an all-new Building Hardware Training (BHT) programme in late Spring 2026 - the DHF Core Competence in Building Hardware.

This innovative offering is designed to elevate industry knowledge and professional standards by providing Ofqual-regulated Level 2 qualifications, fully accredited by the Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE).

Aimed at product managers, customer service teams, trade counter operatives, and professionals working within the building hardware sector, this structured training will provide a solid foundation in building hardware fundamentals while also offering product-specific modules tailored to industry needs.

This training initiative will transform the industry and represents a significant step forward in professional development; filling knowledge gaps and ensuring that those in key customer-facing and operational roles are fully equipped to offer informed guidance and support within their organisations.
